John’s first feature film, ‘Conspiracy of Silence’, which he wrote and directed, stars Academy Award-winner Brenda Fricker, Hugh Bonneville and Chris O'Dowd.  It was developed at the Sundance Screenwriters' Lab and is a well-reviewed film, winning the National Board of Review's Freedom of Expression Award.  He won the prestigious Hartley-Merrill International Screenwriting Award and was nominated for Best Film Director at the Irish Film and Television Awards.

For British television he has directed two 90-min ‘specials’ of the popular comedy-drama series, ‘Fat Friends’, starring Alison Steadman, Ruth Jones and James Corden; a feature length episode of ‘The Brief’, starring Alan Davies; and a 2-hour prime-time television film for the ITV network, ‘If I Had You’, starring Sarah Parish – which received excellent notices and achieved impressive viewing figures.

Gary Linaker - Underground Ernie

Alongside his film and television drama career, John was the co-creator and producer of the No.1 children’s animation series, ‘Underground Ernie’, for BBC – based around a fictional underground railway service called 'International Station’ which is run by station supervisor, Ernie, played by Gary Linekar. It aired on BBC Cbeebies and BBC Two in the UK between June 2006 and December 2009 and achieved some of the highest viewing figures for the channel.

Directing and working with actors, as well as John’s own acting and presenting experience, make him the ideal person to coach and help prepare people to get up in front of an audience to give a speech or make a presentation. John’s experience and skill will benefit individuals who need to up their game and is most suitable for vloggers, entrepreneurs, sales  professionals,  managers, job seekers and anyone who needs to communicate more effectively in order to successfully influence either in person or online.
