Tech startup 'Incendiary Blue' develops app to manage social distancing
SW London resident Lauren Weeks works for Incendiary Blue and explains how the team came together to produce the game changing queuing system that helps manage the social distancing aspect of everyday life.
“I work at a tech startup called IncendiaryBlue @incendiary_blue and to do our part during the pandemic, we wanted to create something that would help all sorts of companies and organisations to effectively manage the new health and safety guidelines simply and efficiently – whether it's to pick up a takeaway, waiting to use the loo or simply order at the counter.
“As we adapt to this new world, we’re all going to have to do a lot more queuing everywhere we go. Through the use of technology, QuQueue helps everyone to queue virtually and receive a notification when it's time to visit the counter or the loo. QuQueue helps us all to stay safe, share the space, spend less time queuing in the normal way and more time doing the things we love."
Qu-Queue even makes managing the rush for meeting rooms easy. You can create a schedule with time slots that make sure groups don’t cross on the way in or out. And you can even block out time for cleaning the room after each meeting.
