Women’s only fitness club, Beattitude inspires local ladies to stay active!

Women’s only fitness club, Beattitude inspires local ladies to stay active!

Beattitude Womens Health and Fitness

This week at Wimbledon Newsie we spoke to female fitness club Beattitude about the new ways they have adapted their offering over this period.

Beattitude offers unique workouts tailored specifically for women of all ages and fitness abilities. Their fitness club, located on the Garratt Lane in Earlsfield, offers an extensive workout timetable with classes including HIIT, Strength, Core, Box, Run, Mobility and Yoga. Each class can be adapted to suit your fitness level and their team of expert trainers can offer modifications for anyone working with injuries or for pre/postnatal clients.

Since March when they sadly had to temporarily close their doors, they quickly took their workouts online and like so many of us, became very well acquainted with Zoom. They might have only been able to workout with their clients ‘virtually' but their online classes proved a real hit and were a great way to stay connected to their community and help keep everyone motivated to stick to their fitness routine.

More recently they have also moved outdoors, teaching classes in Garratt Park since June and as of Monday 27th July, they will also be reopening the doors to their club. This is a very exciting time for fitness clubs up and down the country as finally things can get back to a resemblance of ‘normal’ and for many small businesses such as Beattitude, their date for reopening couldn’t come soon enough!

However, as well as the club reopening, Beattitude are keeping both their park and online classes on the timetable alongside offering classes in their club for the foreseeable future. They say that they want their ‘trio’ of workout options to provide women with choice to enable them to workout in a way that feels right for them at this time. For some people they have discovered that joining a ‘live’ online class from the comfort of their home is an incredibly efficient way for them to get their daily exercise fix. For others, they miss the ‘buzz’ from joining a group class and are ready to race back through the doors of the club. It’s all about balance and discovering what option is best for you.

“There's nothing quite like the energy that you get from working out in a group! However, we understand that when it comes to our reopening, it's important that our clients feel comfortable and confident to return to classes inside the club. Our team is working hard to make some changes in the club following safety guidelines so that the one thing that doesn’t change is your enjoyment of working out with us!” - Beattitude Founder, Siobhan

Beattitude are doubling the amount of professional cleans taking place in the club each week and providing individual cleaning trays at each ‘workout station’ and brand new mats for use in class. They are also making a few operational changes to comply with social distancing and limit contact and have reduced class sizes to just 6 clients to enable you to enjoy your workout with ample space around you.
