Emma Wells Introduces Cardio Tennis, the Ultimate full Body Aerobic Workout
The Fed Cup came to The Copperbox Arena, London and what a victory by Katie Boulter on the Sunday to win the tie for Team GB- the women are now in the World Group II which is an amazing achievement! In the grand slam world Roland Garros (French Open) is just around the corner now, who is backing Nadal for his 12th title?
What a great couple of months it has been on court in Wimbledon Park! Saturday morning tennis club is booming and so nice to see so many children having a great time. For adults our Nike Tennis Tuesdays, a women's only social is a great chance to have a social hit and meet new people.
Our new Cardio Tennis program starts in June, this is a fun group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities the ultimate high-energy workout. The session includes a warm-up, cardio workout, and cool down phases.
Cardio Tennis is an excellent way for beginners to get into the game and have a fun workout at the same time. Because an integral part of the Cardio Tennis program includes using Cardio Balls (red and orange tennis balls that are lower compression), true beginners can begin to play immediately and even be on the same court with players of more advanced ability levels.
If you want to find a healthy, new way to get in shape and to burn calories, you ought to try Cardio Tennis.
Next up on the agenda are the Tennis Summer Camps - booking now available online!

Tip of the week: We always look and blame the racket when a shot doesn't go as planned but remember, your feet carry your body and your body carries your racket. Think about giving yourself more space to hit the ball and then the racket movement will flow better! As tennis is a game where you have to be nimble on your feet, for general fitness incorporate box jumps and skipping into your gym workout to get those leg muscles active!
