Babble Talks, the baby friendly TED style event arrives in Earlsfield

Babble Talks, the baby friendly TED style event arrives in Earlsfield

Babble Talks will be running their first event at The Tara Theatre in Earlsfield, featuring paleontologist Dr Susannah Maidment.

Babble Talks Jurasic Park Presentation

Babble Talks is an event for parents with babies under the age of one, expert speakers give engaging and accessible talks on a whole range of topics that are not about parenting. The talks offer new parents the opportunity to 'reclaim their brain' with baby in tow, as well as providing a friendly and social environment for meeting other new parents where the conversation doesn't have to revolve around the baby!

The Bennetts

Babble Talks was launched in 2018 by South Londoners Ruth and Ian Bennett. The Idea for the event evolved after Ruth swapped the hectic life of an Editorial Director for maternity leave and the world of babies. How could she stimulate her mind and avoid the feeling of detachment from the rest of the world that comes with a new baby? The solution, a daytime event where an expert speaker presents a topic to a room full of parents and babies in an accessible and engaging way.

Talks now take place in a range of venues across the capital and on Wednesday 1st May, Babble Talks will be running their first event at The Tara Theatre in Earlsfield, featuring paleontologist Dr Susannah Maidment. The talk is Jurassic Park: Could It Happen? and it is a fascinating and entertaining look at the science behind the film and the latest research being carried out by Dr Maidment as a world leader in her field. Tickets are available via the Tara Theatre website and are £12.50 in advance. Visit www.babbletalks.com for more info.
